With the rapidly evolving nature of the world right now, we expect the pricing models below to change, as we learn more about what people need at the moment, and how things will look in the future.
We are trying to provide high-value virtual experiences that go as far as possible to substitute the value that people find from gathering in-person at LAST Conference, 1st Conference or Spark the Change Melbourne. We don’t think that we will be running a physical version of these for the foreseeable feature, so we’re pivoting to a 100% virtual model.
We hope that what you might allocate towards coming to one of our conferences, can instead be directed towards participating in the program of LAST Anywhere events.
Talks
The talks will be approximately 60 mins, in a webinar format, including some Q&A time. We’ll be using Zoom’s webinar format and trying out a post-talk mixer using Video Facilitator.
We are going to be building out a really interesting program from people all over Australia and other parts of the world.
Talks…no paywall
Anyone is welcome to join this session. LAST Anywhere talks are something we are proud to create. We want to provide a valuable service to people in our community who want to keep learning, even though we can’t be physically present together, right now.
There will be no paywall for these talks. We only ask you to support us via a “pay what you can afford” style link, if you get value from a session and if it makes sense for you e.g you have a work or personal training budget. We are inspired in this model by our friends at Lentil as Anything.
Regardless, we will be thrilled to have you along. We love you for taking part and want to put together more great stuff for you! We will try our best to make the support worth it for you, beyond just our eternal gratitude.
Any funds made from the talks are going to be split with the presenters. They all put in a lot of effort to put together their material, and so we want to be able help them continue to do so.
We are also looking to keep supporting causes like Flying Robot School, as we go on.

Short Workshops
Workshops will be around 90 minutes and there will be fewer people than the talks. Participants will be encouraged to have their web cams on, and will have ample opportunity to interact. We’ve found this to be a good duration to allow a level of interaction between presenter/facilitators and other participants. We will be using the great breakout room features of Video Facilitator and have a limit on the number of places in workshops. We plan to have several per month to choose from.
Workshops – One-off or Monthly membership
We are charging a one-off registration for workshops. We are also offering a recurring, monthly membership of to participate in a “Single” workshop per month, or a “Double” membership i.e 2 workshops per month. Some sessions my have a small supplement payable for members to join, but mostly you should be able to join without this.
The idea of a membership is that you are purchasing so that you can attend LAST Anywhere workshops across more than one month. If you intend only to attend one workshop, then please purchase a one-off registration to that workshop.
Funds made from the workshops are going to be split with the presenters. They all put in a lot of effort to put together their material, and so we want to be able help them continue to do so.
We are also looking to keep supporting causes like Flying Robot School, as we go on.

Longer Workshops
13 May 2020 – After talking with Cass Spong, about her 4 hour Flow Game, we have added a longer form of workshop to the LAST Anywhere mix. Longer workshops are separate to the previous Workshops…we are now calling them “90 minute” or “Short” Workshops.
They will priced according to the session, probably with a one-off fee. In Cass’ case, it will be a Pay As You Feel model, in line with her usual practice. For priced Longer Workshops, Short Workshop members may be offered a discount code.
